Few months ago I bumped onto a Facebook post by Ustaz Hasrizal about how teachers in Finland "membuat teguran" to the noisy students. The teacher will go to the student and ask him/her to lower down their voice. Please note that the ratio of number of students per teacher is 17:1 if I'm not mistaken, which has a large difference from the ratio in Malaysia (30+:1) This week I bumped onto a Facebook post by Kak Badariah Ismail. So as a Quran teacher who try to learn, show and teach good manner to the students, I vowed to make some differences. Usually when student make some noise or things that can distract the recitation of their friend, I will call their name out loud and say "Sara (bukan nama sebenar), perlahan sikit suara."
